Abstract

Engineers are shrewd, problem solvers, complex systems analysers. The only lacking qualities in some of them are fluency in English language, expression and soft skills. Though our syllabus is based on improving technical language and soft skills most of the students would evolve themselves as cocoons instead of fluttering butterflies. Many students memorize the vocabulary but they don’t know when and where to apply in concept. Some regular practice makes them speak fluently in the day to day circumstances. In the initial stage, they have to improve language by watching English news and reading books. Authentic language videos and TED talks would help the fresher's to come out from their fear and shine well in their career. Preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, GRE and CELTA would also enhance their language and expression.
